Guess my weekends are freaking busy as usual...

Friday - Picnic day :)

Went to Marina barrage to have picnic. Everyone brought some food over to eat. I prepared nachos with sauce whereas jm got some hot dogs and simon brought over chips. Diana, Julian and Mujia brought over some drinks.

To be honest, I didn't actually know what marina barrage was for and me & jm thought it was just a waste of taxpayer's money. (govt wanna sue u, at least i pulled jm along with me) But in actual fact, it's actually a.....

The patch of grass beneath us is actually the whole pump. The whole reservoir serves I guess 2 purposes. One is to hold fresh water, another is to act as a preventive measure when storm kicks in. When it rains at the city, water gets trap and sometimes, it might get a little nasty as flooding might occur. So the possible solution is to pump out the rain water collected at the reservoir and into the sea. And vice versa. As you can see below, that whole bridge is the gateway between fresh water and sea water. Nice right?...

Okay, enough of the fun facts, these are like my chips dipping sauce. But these savage hunger people use the hotdog to go and dip into the sauce. (bet that's jm's hand lor...)

Saw some apache and chinnooks hovering around the city. Guess maybe it was for ndp. Well, I was just being courteous and signalled to them to land and have some chips....

Explored around the area and went to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery along with Diana and Julian. Kind of cool and nice atmosphere. Had some great designs over there. And we managed to see a model of how the barrage actually works

But..in the mean while, had some photo taking sessions. F.O.C

Well, Diana had to go to work and then we went off soon after.

Took MRT to orchard along with the rest. Julian went off first and I went off soon after to meet my parents for dinner. Had dinner at Manpuku Japanese Gourmet Restaurant over at Tampines one. Ate quite alot and the way we get food is like going to mache. Didn't really have pictures cos I didn't have any camera. So koped some pictures to tempt you all inside. This is what we had over dinner....or maybe less then what we had.... heee...

End up eating like $78++ dollars...hahah...but not bad..got lucky draw some more.

After dinner I headed down to phuture to meet up with Shi Sheng and Eugene they all. Cos it was Shi Sheng's birthday, so he opened 3 tables. Had a little bit of drinks. haahahah...anyway, gave him this sake bottle as a present, since he like drinking.

Saturday - Swimming day

Woke up at 10.30am to get prepared and met xuan, guo ming and kiat hwee at my house downstairs to swim. I haven't been swimming for quite long though. We swam till like 2.30pm and then headed off to Ikea to meet up with yang zhi and jason. Had a DAMN heavy lunch cos neither of us had breakfast in the morning :) Shared like 15 meat balls with kiat and had a nasi brani myself, along with a herring plate. Suuuper nice, but suuuupeeer full also. In the end went to drink coffee at starbucks back in tampines. When it was around 4.45pm I suddenly realised tt I had to cover bedok for jenny that day. And I was running late cos I was supposed to be there by 5pm to meet up with the aircon service man. I took cab down just to realise that the aircon man was late too. Suck thumb until cannot suck. Jenny, being the super nice girl she is, went to meet me cos i didnt have keys to the bedok branch. Eh, she came down from like the west side all the way to block 85 there can. So, just worked all the way till nine.

Sunday - Food Day:)

It was an armpits outing. Met up with xuan, kiat, tecko and jason at bugis junction. Jason reserved a table over at sketches. Not bad ah the food there, had this custom made pasta dish where you choose your choice of pasta, your sauce, your toppings and side dishes. Had some marinara sauce along with linguine and some other toppings. But kiat's one was the best. It was like a pizza. But kneaded in a way that it looks like a big dough dumpling. Damnnn nice I tell you. haha..sound like doing advertisement for that restaurant. But if you wanna go there it's on the first floor of parco bugis :)

Had deserts later at Ah Chew 甜品店. ALSO SUPER NICE. I ordered this cold mango sago with pamelo. Wah, never had a better one in my life can. I seriously swear!! After deserts, we met up with kin lung and hao sheng. Went to sheesha over at Arab street and slack and wait for Kin lung. Guess what we had for dinner? 麻辣火锅!! AND IT'S ALSO DAMNNNNN NICE. The soup base like not bad and the ingredients fresh. But one person like $20 like that. Not bad for a steamboat shop

Anyway 食物就在这里到一个段落。For those people who wants to eat these restaurant but dunno how to go. Can contact me!! mauahahha......

Some girl went to blog about my tragic incident today, and once she posts on her blog it'll be like 93.3fm that kind, so, I'm going to explain this tragic incident of mine today.... *shakes head*

The story goes like this......

After school, which ended about 5.30pm, I went off for work at bedok reservoir road. Reached there quite early. Had some bread before going in. I was working until 7 plus when this MAN came in and said in a FREAKING HIGH PITCH VOICE WHICH SOUNDED LIKE A WOMAN (I shall name him as Shemale)...

Shemale: Ah...boy ah...your this mempersheeep ah...hoow to apply ahhh??

*remember, the voice isn't suppose to be like this, in a state of shock, but still tolerable*

Me: Errmm, membership is actually free, you just need your IC and a minimum $10 top up, but the top up belongs to your movie credits

*not yet suspicious....*

*getting a bit suspicious, cos normally cust don't really ask this*

Ha. Not bad, been blogging for 3 days consecutive I think. This post will be about my crammy weekends. Sian.....

Friday

Went to have dinner with Brian and Miah at bugis. Finally I relinquished my craving for steamboat. Ordered yuan yang hot pot. Both chicken soup broth and tom yam. If you all dunno what the hell is yuan yang, you can go die cos you're probably missing out like the top ten nicest food...... But, I've been in good mood recently, so I'm gonna provide a picture for you to see and fantasize :)

After that go sheesha at haji lane. "Leparrrrrrr" (as what B describes it) until probably like 1 plus two? Been quite a while since I met miah, and he's going in NS in june. So he has been asking his friends out everyday. Treasuring your last moments right. Same for me when before I went in also, everytime the day before someones enlist into tekong, we all always had dinner at changi village to eat zi char. Like machiam farewell ceremony. Mine was worse cos we had dec 13, dec 15, jan 7th, jan 8th and jan 9th. And mine was jan 9th. Last day summore. But still had dinner cos there are some rare few who are enlisting in april. After that went back home.

Saturday morning

As you all know it was Vesak day that day. So went to meet up with my grandmother and a relative at some temple. Cos normally I visit another one, so I don't really know what's the name. Paid my respects there and set off to another temple at St Michael's road. It's a sri lankan temple. There's this very huge statue of the 'sleeping buddha' and I always go to pray every year there. Plus, there's an exhibit of the 'si li zi' . Quite crowded there, but the most unexpected thing was to see koreans there. Cos usually there's chinese and sri lankans there only.

After praying we went off to my grandmother's place to have lunch. Was already super hungry by then, had some beehoon with dumplings. Super nice ah.....as expected from my ah ma's cooking :) Around 6pm like that I went to meet with brian again, bought two cds from 'That CD shop' at The Raffles City at city link there. Bought this Fong Fei Fei Audiophile Voicing CD along with another copy. The quality really damnnnn good ah. Wanted to eat sushi tei first, but that bitch ass brian don't wanna wait for 20 mins. Got so long meh! And you know what he got for his mom not? a $448 dollar spa treatment voucher sia....got 12 + 3 sessions free. You can choose from a variety of massage or spa treatment. Haiy, that's the power of 2nd lieut can....got money to throw. Don wan give me ah.....

9pm that time, went to meet up with Miah, his cousin, Alex, Chong Hu and Damian at butter factory. The music was nice ah. Got beatbox dj somemore. But the crowd was kinda atas ah....Very phony that kind. The girls either dress up till look like OL or they are actually OL. Attracts more of OM/OL i guess. Drank abit and partied till like 4pm. It's like SOC + IPPT times 15 extra I tell you. Old already ah...even though the crowd even older :))) Miah took alex's car and me, damian, brian took Chong hu's car. Halfway got lost while finding Mudhammad Sultan Road. Stopped beside the taxi to ask for directions though. hahaha...smart choice.... Went to eat Bah Ku Teh near dblo there. Damn shiok I tell you. After that went home straight

Pig sia I tell you. Reach home like 5 plus am. Sleep till 4.30pm. Supposed to meet up with my cousin's family to karaoke together with my parents cos mother's day. But that stupid cousin of mine say cannot make it. So I think they planning to go next week or something. Ate a bit and went straight to work. I tell you, today really like got a lot of problems. I got like 4 demag cases....6 top ups...1 sign ups plus one stupid 'card-stuck-in-machine-problem'. When it's busy it'll be super busy, when it's no customer day it's totally no customer. What you want....mood swings is it? Knock off from work at 9.30pm cos of that stupid card in machine problem. Then went to eat and meet julian at 10.30pm at the reservoir. hahah.... I picking up guitar fast ok......Even julian says I'm a guitar god now. Praise me somemore ( julian, just pei he pei he abit ok). Went home at 12am.

Morning already made my day happy. If you know wad I mean. Hahaha....and things look a little bit better :) so now more looking forward to school. During lunch went to meet up with xuan, yy and jason. Thought they going out it, in the end went yy house there nearby to eat. yy also sian diao. BUT!!! it's ok...cos I got to meet up with them after a damnnnnn long time especially xuan. Went to eat western with them while jason sat there waiting for his friend. Damn long never talk to them until like that le. After lunch jason went off to find ken first and yy went home. So me and xuan went to tp to look for jason. hahah, she also wanted to look for...hahahah...erm.

After tommy's tut I went off to work. Damn sian for the whole 3 hours. hahahaa....but end up got surprise :)

If anybody did notice my disappearance from the 5th till the 8th of May, don't fret. It was just Genting. Was quite a blast and blog posts will be going up soon. Just need to collect, quoted from Diana, " a little pictures". So, if I do procrastinate, blame the internet or something. It's more convenient.

Went to have "a little drink" with J, G, H, S, I & M. Well, you could say it was only me, J and G. I could safely say that my alcohol tolerance level dropped to the pits. Gin tonic, one shot and 2 glasses of wine and I'm out. Not that out, but HIGH and tired. Notice the caps. Cabbed home and slept.

Before that it was the fund raising event at the country club. It's some golf event where people come to pay for golf and get a shot at trying the hole-in-one. You just have to try driving the ball from destination to that hole in one try and you get a mercedes. Sounds easy right. WRONG! Only a few made it to the greens, nonetheless the hole.

Well, bottom line is, woke up at 4pm. And feeling all fussy wussy. I could say it's a weird/happy dream.

After watching that episode of 康熙来了, really really make me think about _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

Afterall, who doesn't want to settle down. But yea, my ideal age would be around 27 or 28. It's still too early to think about this though.

For now, with so much time at hand, I probably figure that what she say might be right. There may come a time when I have to depend on myself. 2 and a half years for my first and 1 and a half years for my second. I would have to take it step by step though.

At my age, I really think I need to settle down and think of what I should do in the future. Well, one aspect of my life failed, but at least I can further my education now. And I know what I want to do in the future. But there's this time when I was talking to my friend when we were chilling at the reservoir, and he told me there is no loss or it wouldn't hurt if I at least try to apply it once. Well, it's like a dream of mine. It's a big dream. Something that needs a great amount of responsibility. But yea...like he said, if I don't try, I really wouldn't know.

Wednesday, Friday and Saturday was all my training for my job. 4 hours for each training. Then, Sunday was the evaluation. Went well, a few hiccups here and there. Working this wednesday, thursday, friday and sunday. Hope I don't forget anything.

Anyway, Saturday went out with Eugene, Olivia, Kiat Hwee, Teck Wei and Yong Liang. Super long never see Yong Liang sia. And the rest of the armpits like cannot make it. Kin Lung as usual go missing. The rest I guess they're not free. After my training last Saturday, made my way down to city hall to meet them. Then, we went to changing appetite. The burgers look smaller than the ones I eat, but......FREAKING FULL i tell you. The fries practically pass to teck wei to eat. Must be the bun I tell you, the bun must be like 150% full of starch. Machiam stick to the Stomach. After dinner we slack a while then me, Olivia and eugene went off to phuture. Damn long never go club. Suddenly feel all weird. Can't drink as much as before too. Met up with Eugene's friend, Shi Sheng (I hope it's correct), he can hold his liquor very well!Plus I tell you, if you ever want to go phuture right. You better bring along one whole team of basketballers. Best is all centre or power forward. Tell you ah, the girls there can squeeze. The guys there even worse. Squeeze until i become molecule. Vibrate on the spot. Ended up walking to zouk. Even though music is house ah. But not bad, because they invite overseas dj i guess. But, the whole point is, very long nv meet up with my peeps. Went home around 5am??

Nua at home all day. Woke up at 7am. Been waking up like that since god knows when. I think because I've been sleeping damn early. Like 9pm like that?? Sometimes even 8pm I think. Around six I went off to my outlet at Bedok Reservoir Rd block 633. The place quite chapalang ah. But I can say inside quite neat. Brief a while on what to take note off and I went to bugis to meet up with Lek and Brian. Congrats to both of you on ur commission ah sirs! Lek was back at air force and brian got posted to BMT. muahahah....adriel good luck man. haha...went to eat at Aijisan. Then, went off to sheesha at Haji lane. Very long never catch up with Lek also. Talk quite abit. But brian like quite shagged. Afterwhich went to toast box for coffee and some bread. Then train back home.

Very long never blog. Guess I'm a bit lazy to blog because I'm actually not an avid fan of blogging. Don't really know how to write my thoughts down properly I guess. First of all to start of, my holidays started on the 23rd of Feb. Quite long eh? From now till the start of school probably around 2 months of holidays know. 3 more days to my crucial exams. Damn those exams. Having airline and busfund on friday and airport on monday. And then is VIOLA!!!~~ Probably i will find a job as a relief teacher and smack those students who naughty or smth. hahaha....today went to sch to study. Study not until 3 hours den simon decided to play basketball. Of course....being the itchy-handed me, I also went to play with him. Ended up going home around 3 plus i think. And today wasn't exactly as productive as ever. Sucks man.....

You know somethings it sucks thinking too much. Probably it's me who thought too much that's why I'll be in this predicament. I'm like expecting something but it's kinda obvious that I was the one thinking so much. So it's better for me to forget it. It's probably just something screwed up that popped into my head. That's explains everything. I hope. If not, i'll just work my way through the holidays to forget this kinda stuff. This sucksssss...this wheeling sucks big time. sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks.

Valentines day was a alright i guess. My gift this year was by pearlyn. It's a lollipop that looks like a lion/alligator to me but it's super sweet of her. And she bought like tons to give out to the peeps. Saturday went out with brian, got to catch Valkyrie. It's quite a nice show despite people saying it hasn't got an ending. It's got an ending what...... It's worth watching though. Afterwhich we went to kathib to check out the prawning area. Damn ex...like 10 bucks an hour and it was like tons of couple there. We're like some losers there if we go prawning. ahahha. so i decided to call diana to ask whether if she wanna go clark quey not. So we headed to clark quey to wait for the both of them. Waited at the bloody bridge linking to arena. And there was TONSSSSS of couples. Me and brian were like sitting on the bridge and looking out for losers like us. And there they was, two losers sitting opposite us and we were laughing like nuts. cos we were also the two pathethic people there sitting on the bridge. When diana and belinda came, we went to highlander to drink.

YEAH! so far I have been successful from the start of my no carbs policy.

Day 1: My first obstacle was of course, zhi char. Olivia wanted to meet up with us for dinner b'cos she'll be busy i think. We went to changi village to eat at our usual place. Ordered like 8 dishes for 12 people. But the weird thing was I didn't have rice to compliment those dishes. Damn sian can. But no worries. I manage to resist temptation and not eat any rice. After which, we went to Olivia's house to chill. Played some mahjong and drank a little because I had to study for leadership that night.

Woke up by 10am to study my leadership test again. Went to school by 2.45pm and took the stupid test. I guess it's a so-so kinda paper. Got some parts hard got some parts easy. But overall still ok ah. After the paper went home for dinner bcos my brother's going back to aussie for his last sem and my parents wanted to have a steamboat. There goes my test no. 2! No rice. No carbs. Damn......Just eat the ingredients lor....even dong fen i also nv eat ok!!

FunHTBus is like finally down for me. Got over and done with all its project and final sem test. Wasn't so bad but maybe not as good as my term test i guess? Now, I'm up with the SQ006 project, airline project, airport project (tml handing in) and leadership test this saturday. By then, it will mark the start of my mugging season, which will leave me 10 days for me to study. Please tell me miracles do happen :)

By the way, I the biggest bet with fy, simon and julian today at mac. No carbs for me and fy for one whole month. Not even white bread, fries or potato. One month doesn't sound a lot right? But trust me, for someone who is constantly eating rice like nobody business, it is actually quite tough. You know what's the forefeit? Cut my hair botak. That is like the worse thing that can ever happen to me. I took SOOOOOOOO LOOOONGGGG to leave my hair until like that (not like it's very long but...wad the heck). I die die also will last through this bet. See la! Bet on impulse la.

To kind souls out there who do not wish to see me botak, please, remind me not to eat ANY carbs until the 6th of march.

Pondering about my post title? Yep! I love generating revenue = I love mahjong

In the afternoon when I just woke up, my brother told me that they are playing mahjong. So went to play until 5pm. Had a long break and was doing airport project for jm. Afterwhich I ate dinner and we continued playing till like 12am. Hahaha...can't blame us ah. My brother's going back to australia soon and we only get to play mahjong often during new year. But the best part was that I won a fair bit of money, contributing to my savings over the new year :)

Anyway, fyi, I got introduced to the world of mahjong a few years back. After years of "tutorial lessons" inside and outside of my house(& paying lots of money to the winner), I manage to play a little better. And we always have this concept that playing mahjong will increase ur mathematical skills. I really think so. Plus, it helps with those who cannot multi-task, like me. Now I can proudly say that I can "PONG" or "QI!!!!" or "HU!!!!!!!" while watching the telly. OK...a little bullshit. But nonetheless....it's still quite a feat for me k when everyone fully understands the extent of my multi-tasking skills.

Back to a topic that I don't really like to say. Exams. Well, this whole week I've got 3 tests and 2-3 projects pending. ASMHF is still stuck while airline and airport is, how to say.... Undergoing :) Wish me luck! And wish all of u the best of luck! (if u're in the same predicament as me....)

Finally back for some shitty posting. Sorry ah, I'm actually quite lazy to blog about my stuff. Cos the festive seasons have been like on going and stuff. Don't want to bore u with blog post with no pictures. Anyway, GONG XI FA CAI!!!!! Happy New Year to all of you. To all who dunno much about new year, it's the new year of the lunar year. ok....I'm repeating.

Anyway, a lot of things happen before new year started. So i'm just going to list down briefly what I did cos I don't really have much recollection of the stuff. (Ps: STM) First was probably going drinking with my brother (is real brother, not like brother brother, if u get what I mean) at dblo. Again. Dblo is like my favourite hang out place for me. Cos both of us that night didn't wanted to party or something. We just wanted to chill, so we went to the 'quieter' section of dblo where they have live band and cheap drinks. It's probably the first time in my entire life that I chilled out with my brother cos we don't exactly do that. Ha...there are brothers who are naturally close to each other. And on the other hand there's me and my brother :)

Next I think would be going out with Eugene:) guess what? dblo. After which went to his house to stay over before heading home.

Cny was alright though. Went to my po po's house to visit. Cos her house is like a hub for all of us to gather there. In all i think as much as 8 - 9 families gathered there. Quite big eh? Cos my mother's side is quite a big family compared to my dad's side. Had a fair bit of gambling. And on day 2 i was at there too.

Went off to julian's house at night to bai nian and stay over. Played in between with fake monopoly money and the loser was diana and fongyee. You should have seen our faces. hahahah....priceless.

Well, that's much for the post for now, cos in actual fact this post was to be posted yesterday. But erm...due to unforseen circumstances, eg. falling asleep, I was only able to post this today.

So....pardon me :) I shall update soon k? if anybody still reads this blog though...

Monday 12/1

Had some bad monday blues but ended up having a celebrating mood. It was Julian's (猪-lian) birthday on that day. We went to opposite school's Jurong Cafe to eat some teochew noodles and headed off to mac and fong yee and mujia went to buy some "hair-band".....Hahaha... Eventually the ice cream cake came. And it was literally an ice-cream which looks like a cake. Hmm...Didn't I mention it before?

Anyway, we soon started taking photos with fongfatfat's camera and I got to say...How come I always end up being taken with unglam photos. Sucks know.

Was at jm house later at night to help out with the LED board until next morning. Looks very nice but the it ended up not being used for the jae. Wasted sia.... But heck, at least I roughly know how to make a LED signage. Hahaha

Sorry, haven't been posting much lately. And this is currently the first post of 2009. *fireworks all around, firecrackers lighting up everywhere* For now, I've been busy with the open house. Doing shift 2 on friday and shift 3 on saturday. Incoming projects include htm, leadership & airport. Here, that's my life.

I'm so dead for the past 7 days. Only you know why.

wah lao. Sometimes i think nobody reads my blog. hahaha... in between each post is like machiam one new month. But don't worry, I know we have a "steady" number of ppl reading my blog. Right??? ahhaha...gotcha there!!

Anyway, Christmas is a blast!!! spent the day with dear. Went to marina square for Hotpot Culture. Really one person one hotpot. But the Hotpot machiam small ah?? But what I really love is the chocolate fondue. Both of us eat until.....WOOHHHHOOO.. nice.

On the 26th went to Elwyn's house for steamboat and gift exchange. Ate ALOT of prawns. LIKE REALLY ALOT. and alot of beef too. For the gift exchange present I got Gerald's present! Is an organic chocolate from Marks & Spencer. And quite nice too. Gerald. If you see this. I will cherish ur present forever. In my stomach :)

And on the 28th, Olivia fetched the gang to my house. Safely. hahha. And we had a short drinking session discussing about the count down party thingy. Settled i guess.

On a heavier note. It's been deadlines deadlines and deadlines. Airport's not good either with tt kind of test results. Pls gif me an A pls?? Just one will do. But not A for Absent can already.

Damn it, holidays is seriously making me ROT at home because i got nowhere to go out. I thought once term test was over I can finally let my brain rest and go out play or something. But dunno why don't have the mood leh. Feels weird to rest after mugging for sooooo long for this term test. It's as if the time spent at home is totally unproductive! Need to start on my remaining projects left. Hospitality is almost done and sent to Nura. Leadership group proposal is on the move. The only thing i'm left with is the airline project thingy. Plus I haven't go and read the AOC process jm sent me. AHHHHH!

Thursday

Supposedly woke up at 10a.m to go to school to hand in my report but I decided to snooze anyway as the deadline was 12pm. Finally decided to wake up after a few irritating whacks to my poor alarm clock. Walked to School and handed up my report at the HSS general office at 11.45am. Then I met dear for lunch. Ate quite heavily somemore. We were supposed to eat ban mian wan la. But the store closed for dunno whatever reasons. So we ended up eating our favourite BAH CHOR MEE!

After lunch I went to meet up Jin MIng in school to do some work. Hahahah..ended up going to business school to eat. Not me ah. But him! Tempting me only. So, being very unproductive, we decided to go home.

Met up with adriel, brian and miah later for dinner. Went to bugis arab street. Ate at a place called blue jazz. Quite nice ah. Nice ambience and nice food somemore. Brian ordered like as if he just came back from brunei again. Being a huge eater, he ordered a seafood platter, pasta, some "poh pia" like kinda dish, fish and chips and Prawn salad. And at that point of time only got me adriel and brian only. Watched the manchester united versus japan club match. Damn funny sia. Then, miah came along also and watched finish the match. We left the place with KIND and COURTEOUS brian paying and we (no...actually is brian) decided to eat steamboat. Went to the two stretch of lane at bugis where there was tons and tons of restaurant and we entered the one which was near tian tian huo guo. The food was so so ah. But we started to talk about how much funny shit we've done together when we were in secondary one and two. All the quarrels, all the fights. From Anti-Dempster Club to Anime Drawing Club. From literature teacher who has sweaty armpits to teachers whose speech will cause us to doze off. I seriously didn't know we did so much things together sia.

After 'dinner', we went to bugis mrt to draw money and brian, being the big eater that he is, bought DONUTS again. We bused home on 7 to bedok inter and went off after that.

Seriously, I need more catching up with my friends :)

And of course..catching up with u my dear too!

12/12/08 Friday

Spent the day after school at pearlyn's house together with tori. Wasn't exactly in the holidays mood because suddenly felt the urge to grab a book and study. Plus the timings to watch movie weren't quite right. So, ended up watching Moulin Rouge. For the 6th time already.... But I must say....P's house super clean can. Even the walls are damn clean.

Me and tori went off like around 5 plus and I headed home to bathe and change to meet euguene for dinner at tampines mall. Ended up eating mos burger while euguene was eating toriyaki. Headed off to clark quey after dinner to meet up with diana, belinda, Jason and Haosheng and we walked to dblo.

Anyway, before I explain any further. It's to celebrate December armpit's birthday! got eugene, zhi heng and Olivia.

Back to outside dblo.

There's one damn embarrassing (welll...not for me..you'll see) incident. Because we couldn't wait. So we decided to try to get into the express queue. And D and B being underage, we tried to get them in too. For the heck of it. And guess what?

13/12/08 Saturday

Went home with eugene on the cab. Reached home immediately fell asleep. Woke up to buy ingredients for Sunday. Went to NTUC with Eugene and diana, we practically bought the whole of NTUC down. No la...just quite a few stuffs. Eugene and Diana are just bangalas I bought over to carry those bags :)))

Went to market 85 to eat like tons and tons of food. Bbq sotong. Kang kong. Bah chor mee. Hokkien mee. Satay. Full until can die sia.

14/12/08 Sunday

Morning I woke up to prepare the ingredients before dear comes. Was having a little stomachache in the morning though it died down later on.

And.....my latest dish that I tried out!!!!!!

Crispy fragrant jumbo prawns

This dish above, I decided to make it together with scallops. The result was like. Fabulous.

1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees and rub a baking tray with olive oil and set it Aside.

2. Put bread crumbs, parsley, lemon zest, a glug of olive oil and Parmesan and mix it all up

3. Toss prawns in flour and shake off any excess

4. Dip prawns into beaten egg and then into the breadcrumbs. Pushing every breadcrumbs into the prawn to get the flavour in.

5. Shake of excess and put on baking tray and leave it in the oven for 10 mins.

6. Crispy and golden will do the trick!!! And add a LITTLE salt on the prawns.

Works well for squid/scallop and seafood.

Anway, the main course was spaghette with sausages cos it's her FAVOURITE :))))))

Well....been sick for like 5 days now. Decided to take mc today cos i wanted to recover faster. Before term test starts. Seems that my throat is the whole cause. It's like having someone slit u in the throat and then pour curry powder all over it. And the worse thing is i never swallow already pain. Then my fever's going up and down up and down like roller coaster like that. I pray pray pray hope and den pray again.

Pls don't let it be dengue. Term test's coming. Don't play with me at this point of time. I don't want to end up like before.

Saturday 15 Nov

Met up with armpits at tamp MRT station and made our way down to clark quey to rendezvous with hao sheng and olivia's friend. Walked to dblo to find our reserved table but jason, the birthday boy wasn't there yet, so me, eugene, kin lung, hao sheng went to nearby the coffee shop eat bak kut teh first. Damn bloody expensive, $6.80 sia. Got a call from jason saying that he's at dblo so we headed down quickly. Olivia booked party package which was like $480++, inclusive of like 20 plus shots, two champagne, one tequila, and some other hard liquor that i didn't hear of.

Sunday 16 November

Brian wanted to meet up with me and adriel cos' he'll be going to Brunei on Tuesday for JCC. Just nice go 19 days den come back is my holiday. Adriel picked me and brian up and headed to 85. Brian being the "SIR!!!" treat us like tons and tons of food. Stingray ah, sotong ah, la la ah, vege ah, and porridge. Eat until my stomach until now still damn hot. Think i sure lao sai in the morning ah. Was telling me that he's damn stressed cos he has to go through alot of tests. Fail one test have to retake during weekends that means burn one sat. IPPT no gold also burn. SOC nv reach standard also burn. Everything also burn burn burn. Headed off to adriel's house to watch rugby and soccer till like 3am and then went home by cab.

Lesson learnt

Today learned a great deal of a lesson. It was in the lecture room when someone made a comment. Everyone seemed to take the comment as a joke. Even me. Then, one lecturer interrupted and told us something like this " When you guys talk or say any comment, please think about how you will respond. Because by how you responded you tell others that you are actually cheap labour". It was something like this. But this comment really smacked us in the face hard. It was harsh but it makes a great deal of sense. By responding in that manner we sort of wacked ourselves in the face. Can see that the teacher meant well and just wanted us to be more sensible but I guess there are some ppl who still don't take it seriously judging from the response.

And to the particular person who pissed me off today. Let's see how things go.

Why everybody's telling me to give up on my posts? hahaha...quite true la actually. I type until i don't wanna type already. I'll just blog about today la ok? Boring post I think.

Today's like my 3rd or 4th day of being sick. But I'm recovering already. So morning just drag my butt to school and attend tutorial. Had some online conversation with jm, ha ha ha zirah, robyn and julian over msn while in tutorial. I tell you, I'm starting to catch no ball already. Don't really know some part of wad Mr Paul yap was saying but it's ok, luckily got jm and robyn. hahahah....I got clap for you hor jm. And after tutorial went for lecture which i was falling asleep due to some " unforeseen circumstances". After lecture I passed the guitar to julian and he offered to help me tune the guitar back to good shape. Cos I sort of screwed up the strings. My ear cannot differentiate the tone ah....damn suck at music. Now like stuck at some easy easy chords and a few strumming. I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!

After lecture took off to buy lunch for dear cos she had to station at the counter so there was nobody to replace her. Went to eat lunch with my classmates and had this DAMN DAMN DAMN horrible claypot rice. I swear to you ah claypot auntie, you're suffering from severe menopause as I type here. Chicken like cook like half-past-six, the rice not even char ta nicely and the vege ask u put more u also complain. The food's getting from bad to worse ah. Eat until halfway also don't want to eat already. Left for my hospitality and tourism business.

Haiy....now got so many projects have to clear. It seems like the project are more important than the tests now in poly. Still need some adjusting to that kind of studying . When I finished my CDS already, met up with justin, diana, simin, paige and jonathan. Discussed quite a few stuff and went to research more together with diana. Like around 6.45 like tt we left the library. Then, diana say she need to eat something cos she hungry ah. SEE AH. go gym act as if u not hungry!!! Ended up eating KFC meal. Although she only eat the burger only. but is Zinger burger ok! I think all the gym all go to waste. =PPP

Went home and bathe. All the way until now. And I'm just sitting here stoning. Typing. Typing rubbish. Which goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.............................

The First Day in Los Angeles

Alright, as I have promised, I've said that I would give a day by day detail of my Los Angeles trip right? Yeap. Here is it. I've complied the photos except for a few people. So I'll try to update frequently so I can cover all the 8 days.

Day 1

Woke up at 4am in the morning. Bathed and everything and headed to Changi Airport Terminal 3. Then waited for the rest to come. Then when the people start coming in, Me, Simon, Woody, Victoria, Diana, Paige and Sajiv started to check in our luggage. Mine's like 13kg. Remember the weight ah, because this is quite vital at the end of the 8th day. You'll see it on the last post i think.

Anyway, after checking in we start to take like ALOT of pictures. So, let's get the ball rolling.

Well, 6 more hours before I board the flight to Los Angeles. I will be back on the 19th October. Don't miss me ah!!!....nah....

Anyway, missed out a lot of updates. First of all, I passed my Basic Theory Test which is kind of easy. Not what I was expecting. And second of all, I'm here to update about the 7th, 8th, and 9th of October, P802 CLASS CHALET!!!!

Basically, it was quite fun ah. A bit like outdoors picnic, just that we are housed in the chalet. This is due to the number of guitarist in the chalet and we were sitting around and singing together and stuff. Now... I'm quite lazy to elaborate on the details but, let the pictures do the talking. :)

Yep. Going off to Los Angeles, US in about a week's time and today I went for the briefing for the US study trip back in TP. Met up with Simon, Diana, Victoria, Paige, Woody and Sajiv at the first engine block before going into the LT.

The trip to US seems damn fun and I am so looking forward to the visit to NASA Dryden Flight Research Centre. That's like a big eye opener for me because I've been dying to see how is it like to be in NASA and the place where the space shuttles normally launch off. The only time I get to "see" these kind of things is in the movies and the news. haha...Anyway. The hotel rooms have been allocated and me, Simon and Woody will be sharing one room, which consists of 2 queen size matteresses. Woody, you're sleeping in the middle!!! =P

Will be going off on the 12th Oct early in the morning. But, I have another thing to say.

I think I really want to thank my parents la. Because this will be my first time going on a school overseas trip ( overseas as in not considering M'sia la) . And they're willing to fork out the cash for my trip. Although me being abitttttt unfilial and not knowing how to say thank you to my parents face-to-face, this will be the only option I can really thank them.

Sorry ar... this post is posted after 12am. So now is already the 2nd of October. But anyway, tuesday I tried packing my table as it was quite a mess. So far my table's been packed and nothing has been progressing so far. Let me show you how messy is my table....

Doesn't seem messy to you but to me, I'm a sort of a neat freak. I don't like my things to be messed up at every corner of the place. That's why I like to keep my room tidy constantly. Ended up that after cleaning, my table seems a littleeeeeee tider, I think. Last time when I was in my unit, I got nothing to do at night ar, then like to clean up my cupboard for stand-by bed. I think I sort of scare my mates sometimes cos I'll crawl up around 12 plus am and tidy up when I can't sleep. Crazy right.

Anyway, wednesday I went out with dear to shop for her formal wear, while I also went to reserve my Jay Chou album，魔杰座。

After shopping, we went back my house and watched 篮球火。hahah....super nice sia, me and dear we like keep laughing away.

After I send her back which is like 4 plus pm. Went to find elwyn, simon, gerald, fong yee, victoria & diana. They watched house bunny i think. Then, after movie I met up with them. Me, simon, gerald and elwyn then seperated from the girls to buy cake at downtown while the girls went to "shop". We then decided to give her a little surprise.

First what I thought of was to buy a small cake and a colgate. Then, cover the top of the cake with the colgate as "cream" and den SMACK her face. But knowing that she buys ALOT of face-care product. We decided it was a little bastard.hahah...we then decided to buy the small pandan cake and take it as if it was the real cake. Means that she only eat the small little pathetic "birthday cake". Later when we got the signal from elwyn, me and simon came out with the real one and surprise her. Not say it was very surprising but at least we pulled it off okay. Hope you like the 2nd option diana!!! & the cake too. However, due to the lack of photos. I'm not able to provide u guys with some "exciting" games that diana played with the cake. I will have to dig from her and post it later.

hahah...anyway, the girls later went off and we went to pasir ris white sands to eat at the Hong Kong cafe at the first level. Sinyan came to join us too. Ate minced meat fried rice. Ex sia......hahaha...but at least I'm full. After eating, home sweet home.

Well, let's see what I had for the past few days and the on-coming week.

Damn it. As you can see, it's like 1.40a.m and I'm still rushing my reports for my work. Have been working as a tele-auditor for at least two days le and all I can say is I'm kinda disappointed. The pay that I'm earning wasn't the same as what they advertise on the net. And the worse thing was they extended the deadline till 10 oct. But next week onwards I will be like damn busy. Let's see, I've got.......

1) Tprawks on the 30th sept

2) E-trial on the 4th oct

3) Briefing for USA trip on the 6th oct

4) E-trial for BTT on the 6th oct

5) BTT on the 7th oct

6) Class chalet on the 7th, 8th and 9th of Oct

7) USA trip on 12/13th oct till school starts

And I haven't even been to the E-trials yet!!!!! I don't want to fail my BTT la.

If I got so much things going on, how am I going to work. I thought only 7 days and that's the reason why I chose to job ma. And how am I going to spend time with her? Feel like quitting the job la. It's not because of the job scope but more of the timings and everything.

At first, they said the job takes 7 days and each day you can earn $75. It ended up being something which is up till 10th oct and each day I can barely touch $60. Besides that, I didn't know have to type out reports. The more I think about it the more my blood boil. So, by now I've been earning only $70 for two days. One of the report didn't went through because there was some error.

Well...back to doing my reports then. Tada~

What is the world coming to??? I keep hearing from friends about guys cheating on girls and now even girls cheating on guys in a relationship. I mean, even if you do like the other party, please spare a thought for him/her and break up la. Don even fucking come and say "oh....I still love him/her still, that's why I don't want to let go". Fuck la....give excuses also give nicer ones can. This is what I call bullshit. You're just giving them more of a reason to feel hurt. You think by hanging on to him or her you can save the relationship? Then why in the first fucking place you want to find another guy/girl? I've got another good friend of mine, the gf break/cheat on him when he's in ocs. What the fuck is she thinking. Serving the country is already shit enough. Give him this kind of shit again? Was at Singapore's Youth Flying Club to help facilitate games for the cerebal palsy kids. And for your information, these kids are not what you people out there percieve as, like those "deformed" or even "retarded". NO NO NO. They are like cute little kids who just have a little problem learning as quick as a kid should.

As quoted from dear Wikipedia, "Cerebral palsy (CP) is an umbrella term encompassing a group of non-progressive,^[1] non-contagiousconditions that cause physical disability in human development." So ...to break the myth of "OMG...these kids might pass the virus to my kids!!!", please...I urge you to read more and improve that certain pea-brain of yours.

Anyway, where was I?? Ohhh....these kids are like super super cute and have really really....ermm.....authentic names. I remember there's this small kid named Rayko. And i swear to you that she's an angel la......super cute to the max!!!!! Ok...enough of the side tracking, we started off the day by travelling super far to SYFC. Taking bus here and there, finally settled down at the canteen inside SYFC. Pravin and Jin Ming brought the "hole in one" thingy there and Mr Cyrano came abit later with the food and drinks for the kids and their parents/helpers.

So in all, there were like 3 stations and my group was in charge of station two, which is the "Hole in one" game. The objective is to teach them to make a rather special paper plane and let them try out how to fly by asking the kids to throw their plane in these holes, accumulating points=STARS;))) Daniel was the in-charge for teaching the parents/helpers and the kids how to make their plane and they would have to personalise their own plane which they can bring home to play.

Met Simon at ICA at 9.30am to do biometric passport and his i/c. After which, we took bus 43 (which is a damnnnnn long journey) to ecp. Along the journey, we were like playing some mind- boggling games. nearly killed me laaa..

Sent my application form to Gary few days ago, hope it's not so late to hand up. Keep my fingers crossed. Anyway, Saturday i went out with dear and went to eat SAKAE. Was a little expensive though but I was always tempted with the salmon sushi. She kept on stopping me from gobbling up too much. If not my pocket would have a huge hole again.

After meeting up with dear i met up with Jason, Kin Lung, Hao Sheng, Eugene and Yang Zhi around 7plus to chill. Been a long time since i went out with them. Everyone seems alright yeah...Hao Sheng's got a gf which was totally new news to me but old news to them. Darn...

And we went Bali Thai at Suntec while waiting for Zhi to come. Ate a plate of pineapple rice for $9.50 la. Daylight robbery sia...and we ordered two plates of koropok by mistake. FOURTEEN dollars can? WTH. After rou came, we went to chill out at dblo. Bought a couple of drinks and drank too fast. ahahha..the result?? headache. Lousy sia...had alot of talk with them. Especially jason. Seems fine. Damn nice person sia he. Hope he'll do fine in the future and don't think about it too much.

Don't know why things can be good for a second and end badly in the next second. Everything's so unexpected. Guys in army, girls in uni. Me? in poly still pursuing further education. Hope everything can turn out fine. Been thinking about things that has been bothering me for quite some time. ahahha...guess that there's too many things going round and round in my head. Shall just shuff it one side first.

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY GUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night was full of madness. Met up with Gul, Sean, Eugene, Gerald, Zhi Xing and Monty at Cineleisure. Ate pasta mania and met up with Monty later on. Then, I realised that they were planning to go clubbing. So we headed down to Zouk. Bought Phuture tickets, but can go both Phuture and Zouk.

Due to that dumb dumb promotion, 1 for 1 before midnight. Drank like 2 Jaggerbombs, 2 Whisky Jugs. Then later on drank 2 long island tea. I was weak like shit. Like that can make me fuc*ing high. Later on sean and his friend went off. Left the four of us. OH!!! and I forgot something. Sean bought an additional Flaming Lamborgini for Gul. Made him drunk. hahahaha...

Where's the picssssssssssss. Will update on later. oh..and have to apologize to a certain someone. hahah..so pai sei.

Ended up changing to another shirt during my 2 hrs break. Had a heavy Bah Chor Mee session with dear and I headed to my home to change. Den waited for my turn during wrtoral was a torture la. Second last of the presenters. Everyone did great!!!

Today was a rather nice day for me. hahaha...i slept till morning 11.30am when dear suddenly messaged me. "Can you come open the door?", I was like huh??? Then I went to open my door and there she was. Standing with a package in her hand. Damn sweet la. Anyway, she bought me a billabong shorts which must have cost a bomb. Thank you k? L ya.

And this was the shorts that she bought for me :)

And soon after, my mom made me mian xian because today's my chinese birthday. hahah...looks a lot sia. (actually its a lot).

Den around evening, me and my parents went parkway parade and treated me dinner. Ate salad, spicy crab meat soup, sausage platter, pork knuckle, and my favourite..Ribeye steak. SHIOK sia...medium done. The meat was like damn succulent. You all should try it!!

I'm PROCRASTINATING again.

Today, I went out with her after lunch at home. Went to TM to buy some formal clothes. In the end, me and dear ended up buying only pants at SUB. Got 50% discount for ALL men's and women's pants/skirts. Super cheap la and they don't do discounts frequently. So my pants was like $39.40 and hers was $34.90. Cheap right?? Good material somemore.

So..after I sent her back I went to my Ah ma's house for dinner. Ate quite alot somemore. Reached home around 10.30pm. PROCRASTINATING UNTIL NOW.

Director's Cup

Today was our director's cup basketball tournament. And I was like damnnnnnnnnn nervous throughout the whole match la.... Out of like 6 free throws i drawn, I only went in like 2?? So damn pathetic and disappointing. Anyway the score was like 26-25. Just by ONEEEEEEEEEE more point leh. Really damn sad la. But its over anyway, but the basketball spirit in me like restarting sia. Need to train up my confidence!!!

Anyway nothing much happen for the day....just for the fact that I still haven't completed my wrtoral slides. And tuesday is my presentation. I am like on the brink of dying soon with my nose' current situation. Flu whole day also not well.

The Revival of My Blog

Well, it's like 2.38am in the morning and I've got nothing to do. So I've decided to give my blog another shot. Previously deleted all my older posts so as not to dwell on the past. Anyway, I can't really sleep right now as I've slept from 8pm till 12am just now.

So......I've been looking around and searching for some photos when I stumble upon some photos that brought back a lot of memories. Memories that make me want to go back sooner (well..by the time when I'm back, I'll probably be complaining again). And yes, I'm talking about my army life if YOU readers don't really know. As some of you may know, I've served my country for like 4 months or so before coming to study at TP. And I'm really kinda miss the times I've spent back then.

Having enlisted on the 9th January 2008, I'm like one of the first few batches of the new 2008 year to enlist into what we guys affectionately call...... Tekong!!! When I first board that damn "fast" craft (I shall explain it later), I wasn't really sure what to expect. When me, my brother and my mom reached that island, I was soon seperated from them to do some pre-rehearsals for the oath taking. And that was when I saw my CSM. Well...soon enough it was the oath taking ceremony and we had to take an oath, an oath to our country. After the ceremony we had our "last" lunch together with our loved ones. I still can remember...chicken rice.

Soon enough, I was officially enlisted into the army and became a recruit. Orion Company platoon 2 section 2. After getting all our uniforms, equipment, guess what?? We had to go through another "ceremony"..the hair cutting ceremony. When I was back to my bunk, my first reaction was to open my locker and look at the mirror. And there I was...standing there with my grey vest and black shorts, with a little amount of hair planted on my head. However, it's still lucky enough to have 12 of my section mates being in the same state as me.

Next was the passing of the arms to us. And yes, soon enough again, it was our field camp. It was that 6 days 5 nights of field camp that bonded me with my section and platoon. All the morning jungle runs...the basha tents...shellscrape....ahhhhh.....And the endless fun of...."CONTACTED!!!!" Not to mention...the nice mexican frank pasta and milo powder.

I still remember we used to chew on those gummy bears given by our sec commd and we were hiding on the hill so as not to be seen by other groups that we were slacking away.

Next I would say is the sit test where we were splited up and mixed to test our abilities and determine where we were going after POP. Well...quick enough....we were at our 24km route march. What I can say is it was totally fun but tiring. All the random songs we were singing on the way. What backstreet boys la...Andy Lau la...Jay chou la. All singers also have. Machiam like K box like that. In the end, I ended up walking on my heels for 2 weeks because of my blisters.

Soon enough, it was my Passing Out Parade. I think I shall let the pictures do the toking next :)))

Anyway..after my POP. I got posted to Changi Defence Squadron as a Regimental Police. And soon after I went to study in Poly le.
